Congratulations on purchasing your New INEVIFIT Massage Foam Roller! Your Roller has been made with a dual pressure design to obtain the optimal massage pressure on the muscle being treated. To get you started we have put together the Top-Five INEVIFIT Trainer recommended self-massage rolling routines. Please remember that Foam Rolling should not be rushed. Take your time with each exercise to ensure that you get the proper myofascial release. Treat your Adductors! Position yourself face down with one leg bent over the foam roller and your spine in the neutral position. Begin by completing a slow 60 second roll over the length of your full inner thigh. On the way back stop for 30 seconds at each tender point, where you feel muscle tightness and pain. This will help release muscle tension and help your body with proper muscle recovery. Feel free to repeat the process a few times until the tender points are less pronounced, and proceed to working on your other leg. Treat your Lats! Position yourself laying on your side with your lower arm extended straight up. Begin by placing the foam roller underneath the area near your arm pit. Complete a slow 60 second roll down your side until the roller is beneath your mid-torso area. On the way back up stop for 30 seconds at each tender point, where you feel muscle tightness and pain. You will have to repeat this twice; one with your body up right, and one with your body leaning slightly back to get more of the posterior part of your lat. Feel free to repeat the process a few times until the tender points are less pronounced, and proceed to working on your other lat. Treat your I.T. Bands! Position yourself in a side plank position with your roller underneath your hip and use your upper leg for support along with your arms. Complete a slow 60 second roll from your hip area down to about 3 inches above your knee. On the way back up stop for 30 seconds at each tender point, where you feel muscle tightness and pain. Here you can control the amount of pressure with the help from your arms and leg which are supporting your body. You will have to repeat this process for a total of three times. One with your body up right, one with your body leaning slightly back to get more of the posterior part of your leg, and one with your body leaning forward to get more of the anterior section. Feel free to repeat the process a few times until the tender points are less pronounced, and proceed to working on your other leg. Treat your Quads! Position yourself face down with your spine in the neutral position and place your roller underneath your pelvis, to begin working on one Quad at a time. Complete a slow 60 second roll from your pelvis area down to about 3 inches above your knee. On the way back up stop for 30 seconds at each tender point, where you feel muscle tightness and pain. Here you can control the amount of pressure with the help from your arms and legs which are supporting your body. Feel free to repeat the process a few times until the tender points are less pronounced, and proceed to working on your other leg. Treat your Glutes! Position yourself sitting on top of the roller while supporting your balance with your feet properly planted and your hands placed behind you. Begin by completing a slow 60 second roll on one side, and slowly roll from the bottom of your glute near your hamstring all the way up to where your glute meets your lower back. On the way back up stop for 30 seconds at each tender point, where you feel muscle tightness and pain. Here you can control the amount of pressure with help from your arms and legs which are helping you support your body. You will have to repeat this process twice; one with your body in neutral alignment, and one with your body leaning slightly to the side to get more of the outer section. Feel free to repeat the process a few times until the tender points are less pronounced, and proceed to working on your other side.
